Nissan Motors — Not manufacturing child parts and asking to replace the entire panel worth 38,000 though its not faulty

Hi Team,

I am writing this email with deep distress and sadness. I tried to call your customer service numbers but the customer support representatives kept disconnecting my calls. I have called multiple times to complain related to autorelli nissan service center in chennai but the customer service representatives kept disconnecting the calls.Fianlly, a person by name krishna picked the call and helped me in connecting to the autorelli nissan service center people.

The issue is that the (P.S) light is turning on and the power steering is becoming hard to operate. I called the nissan road side assistance team and they erased the error in the system(Laptop) and told me that there is a torque sensor issue and i have to replace an electrical part and the issue will be resolved. He asked me to go to the nearby service center to get it fixed. I went to the nearby service center which was autorelli nissan service center in iyyapanthangal. The service advisor was rude, didnt attend to my problem immediately. After waiting some time, i went into the garage and their was some gentleman who listened to me and told the electrical person to run a system diagnosis and erase the error. The electrical person ran the diagnosis and informed something to the service advisor. The service advisor came back to me and told that i have to change the entire panel which will cost 38, 000 rupees. I told him that the child part only costs[protected] which i have to pay 38, 000. The service advisor kept on saying there is no availability of child part but the panel is available. I kept asking him, if the panel is available why cant he take the child part and fix it. He said nissan doesn't make child parts, they make the entire panel and if i have to take the entire panel i can take it or leave it.

I am not sure why nissan doesn't make child parts? why they want to sell the entire panel when only a part is defective. This is bad service by nissan. If somebody buys your car, they should be able to change the nut if the nut is faulty. You dont ask the customer to change the entire car for a faulty nut. Please advise on this nissan team.
