Nissan Motors — Unrealistic labour charges. | |||||
To Mr. Carlos ghosn, President and chief executive officer Nissan motors co. Ltd 1-1, takashima 1-chome, nishi-ku, Yokohama-shi, kanagawa 220-8686, japan Subject: nissan india - only to cheat poor indian people Dear sir, With my experience and of many other indians with nissan india, it is hard to believe that it is the same nissan company which was reputed for its devotional work to make all kinds of vehicles including the heavy vehicles for military since last 80 years. Nissan india is cheating people on the name of selling good cars and providing services. I had recently visited neo nissan sector-63 twice in 1 week for timing belt, tensioner and fan belt replacement. And again on 26/06/2017 for the replacement of driver window glass. When i called supervisor, first he said that glass will cost me 800/- with a labour charge of 1500/- extra. When i reached he said that glass will cost me 2000/- inr + tax and then a labour of 1500/- + tax (1725/- total). Do you really think that a glass replacement labour charges should cost me this much (1725/-) 10 minutes of work? When i questioned to the service advisor he said that he can't do anything as it is online and also told me that it has 980/- included for vacuum. My goodness, how come vacuum can cost 900/- in nissan though i can still see some broken glass pieces still in my car and i can show to other. There are other brands available in market like ford which if far better than nissan and still labour charges are very economical. Your technician is replacing timing belt and i am paying 2000/- as a labour charge for that. And for fan belt replacement same time they charged 250/- extra. If this is the policy of nissan then i am sorry to say that i would not like to have any vehicle and will sale it off as i have 3 micra at home and booked a terrano 1 week before. Seems, that you have made a monopoly whereas counter sale isn't allowed so anyway customer has to visit service centre and he/she has to waste his harden money on unnecessary charges though work can get done with in few hundreds of rupees. If, i am making any sense to you then please look into it or else that day isn't far away where people will scare to buy nissan specially in india. Thanks for your time. End of rant.
