Novelty Hyundai Court Road — Regarding concealment of facts and misleading information provided by Novelty Hyundai Court Road, Amritsar | |||
Dear Sir/Ma'am, Please refer to my conversation over conference call with Ms. Swati Das (Hyundai Sales Customer Care Executive Delhi-NCR) and Ms. Keerat (CRM of Novelty Hyundai Amritsar) of today's date (12 Aug 20). I wish to inform you that me and my wife are serving in Armed Forces and we have booked Hyundai Creta 1.5 SX(O) IVT Petrol from Novelty Hyundai Court Road Amritsar in the name of my wife Capt Rashmi Chaturvedi. (Booking Details attached). The Agency/Dealership (Novelty Hyundai Court Road Amritsar) on being asked about the insurance of the said vehicle tried to conceal the facts and mislead me by telling that as per company norms it is mandatory to take first insurance of new vehicle from dealership only, but the same was not found true while discussing the matter with Ms. Swati Das (Hyundai Sales Customer Care Executive Delhi-NCR) and Ms. Keerat (CRM of Novelty Hyundai Amritsar). Since I have booked the vehicle, I am running after Novelty Hyundai Court Road Amritsar for getting the Insurance Quotation of my vehicle Hyundai Creta 1.5 SX(O) IVT Petrol but there is always a bureaucratic response and in that they told me that insurance cost can clearly be told at the time of billing, which totally appears to be misleading and the same also told to Ms. Swati Das (Hyundai Sales Customer Care Executive Delhi-NCR) and Ms. Keerat (CRM of Novelty Hyundai Amritsar) during aforesaid conversation and they also agreed that this is wrong on the part of concerned dealership. Nevertheless, I asked Dealership (Novelty Hyundai Court Road Amritsar) to provide an approximate cost of said insurance but the same has not been provided to me despite repetitive reminders since one month for the reason best known to dealership. Also the dealership is providing very limited insurance plans (namely of liberty and kotak mahindra). I also wish to inform you that I wanted to meet concerned sales person of Subject Dealership (Novelty Hyundai Court Road Amritsar) personally for discussing things in detail on 26 June 2020 and I informed him prior to my arrival to which he agreed but sadly he was not available and didn't even bothered to inform me that he will not be available for the reasons best known to him. Now therefore I request you to look into the matter and provide suitable remedy in respect of below mentioned points 1. Customer should not be forced by the Subject Dealership (Novelty Hyundai Court Road Amritsar) for getting insurance from dealership. 2. Subject Dealership (Novelty Hyundai Court Road Amritsar) should provide detailed quotation for each and everything the dealership is providing including insurance. 3. Subject Dealership (Novelty Hyundai Court Road Amritsar) should not conceal facts from customers and mislead them. 4. Subject Dealership (Novelty Hyundai Court Road Amritsar) to be asked to disclose the policy which states that it is mandatory to get first insurance of new car from their dealership only. 5. If the Subject Dealership (Novelty Hyundai Court Road Amritsar) doesn't want to cooperate with customer then I request Hyundai to transfer the allotment of my vehicle to an honest Dealership in Jalandhar and in that the delivery schedule of my vehicle should not be affected as my vehicle is already in transit. 6. A wide range of insurance plans should be provided to customer and if Subject Dealership (Novelty Hyundai Court Road Amritsar) is unable to do so the dealership should not force customer to get insurance from them. 7. A Complete refund of booking amount may be issued to me that is Rs 25000 without imposing any cancellation charges as cancellation is due to foul play on the part of dealership and not due to my mistake. Further Concealment of facts and misleading information given by Subject Dealership (Novelty Hyundai Court Road Amritsar) puts question on their integrity and it also appears that the subject dealership wants to cheat their customers. Above mentioned concern and facts were also presented during my conversation over conference call with Ms. Swati Das (Hyundai Sales Customer Care Executive Delhi-NCR) and Ms. Keerat (CRM of Novelty Hyundai Amritsar) of todays date (12 Aug 20). As a combatant member of Armed Force and as your sincere customer I sincerely look forward towards suitable action from your side. Also I wish to inform the dealership that if they continue the said malpractices, I will surely report the matter to concerned CSD Depot for getting their registration cancelled and if situation demands the matter will be addressed to court of law and consumer protection Anticipating a positive response from your side.
