[Resolved] OneAssist Consumer Solutions — poor service provided amounting to fraud | |||||
My mi redmi note 3 phone suffered from accidental damage which was covered under the insurance. On reporting the matter, the company said that they didnt have a hub in my area and asked the phone to be couriered to delhi hub which i did. Few days later they have emailed that the insurance claim has been rejected and my mobile is being returned un-repaired. They have quoted "the subject claim is not admissible under exclusion 10 - loss or damage caused by incorrect storage, wilful negligence (No proper care of handset has been taken by insured to safeguard the property)". This is downright fraud. Can accidents be caused willfully? Further, i am yet to get back my mobile even after nearly a month. I assume they have lost it.
