[Resolved]  Oyo Rooms — complaint illegal activity

Hi

I am finny mathew a australian and i have booked your room at oyo 5692 stay inn residency cochin from 12th april to 13th april with the booking id nh[protected] thro make my trip. I was travelling from melbourne and was reaching cochin airport midnight of 12th april so i have informed your customer service i will be checking in late at the hotel after midnight. They have stated as ok and noted.

But to my shocking when i arrived at the hotel on 12th midnight at 2.00 am the reception guy states all rooms are booked and no rooms available. Shown him my booking details and found my name in their, but he stated all rooms has been given out, what a pathetic situation. Got very frustrated and upset, as advised by him tried ringing oyo customer service 3 times from my phone and they states will help and holds and disconnects, tried ringing the manager with no effect. At the end had to call make my trip and was transferred to a different hotel.

I need a clear clarification on this matter, why the rooms were given out even when i had bookings done and payments paid. I clearly suspect something illegal activity goes behind this booking rooms in different names and selling out to someone else. I had lost my lot time due to your worst service.

Expecting your response on this matter, if not i will be forced to take this matter legally reporting to the media and police.

Was not able to lodge complaint online from Australia, so tried ringing oyo customer service for 5 times, noone sitting ther had any idea of the email address of lodging complaint.
What a pathetic ### company, they kept on transferring my call and keeping on hold. What a service. Awaiting for a response.

awaiting your response on why this has happened, and why my room were given to someone when it was booked under my name and the system said so. I need a clear clarification on the matter.
Coz legally i was obliged if anything had gone wrong, booking were under my name, and the hotel has given that room to someone else, so the person staying was without identification, and that could be a terrorist.
I will wait for your response and how you have handles and what is the resolution provided.
Or else happy to be challenged in the court and media.

no one ever sent me a mail or contacted me from oyo.
What a great customer service, what a cheating business.
Guys be aware of such fake cheating business.
