Panasonic — Design Defect Analyzed for Anchor-Panasonic Ceiling Fans
Dear Panasonic, Flap Joint on a Blade with its Clamp got loose after just using one year. When I called your Service Engineer they assumed loose of Plastic aesthetic pieces and therefore they are not able to solve the Problem. Even if they analysed Lap joint loose Noise, they might not have taken any action. I have solved the Problem by using Pidilite Flex Kwik adhesive by dropping three times between Lap clearance and Head Clearance. I Concluded this as a Tolerance Design Problem with Rivet Joint because if Tolerance is Close or tight then Shape of the Blade may change randomly in manufacturing and Wobbling will be the result. So I think One Piece of Blade design without Lap joint is Permanent Solution. But if yOu have any other Solutions let me Know. I am a 30 YearsManufacturing Experience Passionate Problem Solving Engineer. So please discuss. Er. Balaji Sahu [protected] [protected]@gmail.com Was this information helpful?
