Please check that the file D 000390 dt[protected], is converted to Tatkal on[protected], after personally bringing and handing over police verification certificate to Acting passport officer Mr Surendra .

The file number D 000390 dt 25/[protected] has to be treated as completed and new passport sent immediately with out any delay as the date given by you is latest by 6-5-2011.

Also update online status and do not miss-lead your superiors by showing no police clearance received so far , when you have personally received it on[protected] and advised conversion to 'tatkal' with delivery by[protected]only for administrative purpose such as printing and max time of 7 days ), and dispatch the new passport immediately as 6-5-2011 has passed . Your failure cannot be my loss.

As per the requirement of US embassy to submit a new passport to stamp H1 Visa, I desired to apply for a new passport in place of damaged passport under 'tatkal'. But I was advised by your office that I can apply for new passport under general scheme first damaged passport, and it will be converted to ;Tatkal' on submission of police verification report and will be issued within a week.
Accordingly I submitted my application on[protected] paying 2500/ ( file no D 000390 ), obtained police verification report on[protected] and paid another 2500/ and upgraded my application to tatkal . You have given a delivery date of 6-5-2011. I hope you will deliver it to-day 6-5-2011 without fail, as my submission to US embassy will be delayed entirely due to you, which is very sad.
Another dis-appointing thing is though you have received Police verification report on[protected] personally and accounted Rs2500/ for tatkal for the same file number D 000390 of Vikram Palakodety, in on line status you are showing ' Police clearance not received ' which is strange. Receipt 1039654 , file D000390 dt[protected], you have categorically stated on the basis of police verification certificate received by you on[protected], the delivery of new passport is on 6-5-2011. Please honour the same and dispatch it on 6-5-2011.

as i am studying in chennai, i need to get verifications from two states and so i got.
but the passport was not yet issued till date and status in net was blank.so please help me

10.But so far i have not received my passport.. Its urgent for me to join ship
.. I am jobless due lack of passport.. my company called me many times but now
has discarded me from my job.

I visited Visakhapatnam passport office 3 times but no use.. all i was told is
come after one week application in process also On line status shows police
verification not received which is not true. Its 3 months since i applied but

Sir/Madam,

The buliding in which the passport office in visakhapatnam located is very small and compact. There is no proper trained staff for hearing your greivances and there is only one person for all applications, complaints,allocation of timings...etc. This is the only center for 5 districts of north coastal andhra pradesh which cater services to almost 10 million population.

The building where the pass port office located has no parking and can accomdate only 70-85 persons at a time and more than 350 people are waiting outside at any given time. Please replace it with own building and have an updated time allocation system like electronic numbering one found in ICICI bank systems.

Please increase the trained staff and reduce the work load on them and accomadte more people in a big building. We want better services and charge more if required. Try to remove the feeling of government work that is always late and inefficient.......

Sir i had applied for my wife kids passport on 29 January 2010 and stillhad not received the passports despite several grieviences and mails sent to delhi and vizag. I request u to take necessary action immediately.

I was applied on 3-June 2010 for Police Clearance Certificate at Regional Passport Office Visakhapatnam. i am from east godavari kakinada. Still it was not dispatched for Police Enquiry. It was very urgent for my Kuwait job. I was called to IVRS and passport office. But no one has responded my call. Really i don't know what i have to do. But it is very necessary to submit my PCC to Kuwait Embassy for attestation otherwise i have to loose this opportunity.

Please tell me how to take action about this issue.

Dear Sir/Madam,
My self YSWETHA PRIYA POKALA, applied PCC(Police Clearance Certificate) for Kuwiat on February 15th 2010, My file no VSP-X003376 and my Passport no is H7514846. It is been 45 days since I applied for my PCC and so far I have not received it. My visa is going to expire by May 2nd. After receiving PCC I have to undergo long visa process in India i.e. Medical Examination, stamping in minstry and Kuwait embassy in Mumbai, which is also going to take time.

When I contacted passport officer they are telling that they sent my file to SP office for police verification but when I checked with my local SP office or Police station they are telling me that they have not receiced yet. I have been following up with SP office since 30 days and they are repeatedly telling me that they have not received it.

Please do the needful to get my PCC at the earliest otherwise my visa will expire and I will not be able to travel to meet my husband. I was married recently and it will affect my personal life seviourly.

I could not understand passport office/SP office they are justifying that they sent or they did not received, in that case what happened to my PCC. Nobody is taking responsibility in tracking.

Please do the needful at the earliest.

As per MEA Govt of India provision any applicant can get the information of his/her application status of passport online. But visakhapatnam passport office is not updating its status since 30/12/2009.Inspite of my complain to griveance cell of ministry of external affair and their interference the online portal is not being updated causing a lot of inconveience to general public at large. The police verification was over, but still there is no progress in the status.

From past 6 weeks the status is appearing as

"It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time"

Now I am in UK, I want to apply for the Visa for my kid asap. But still my family haven't yet received the passport. Could you please let me know when can my family receive the passport.Please do the needful.

This is regarding my application for renewal of pasport with Visakhapatnam RPO.

I have applied my passport at rpo vizag on 23-09-08 vide file no.E008283.At the time of police verification, I was not at vizag and presently now I am at hyderabad as i relocated from vizag.So, I have submitted my PDF form along with photos and new address on 08-05-09 at RPO Vizag and awaiting Police verification at Hyderabad.

I have not received any information from Passport office Visakhapatnam.
Request you to kindly look into the matter and resolve the issue as early as possible.

Have applied for my damaged passport on the date 23rd feb 2009,
the normal procedure takes to re-issue the passport would be 2-1/2 months(that is what was informed to me by the authorities) the passport office in visakhapatnam is not at all systamatic. None of the authorities provide accurate information, when enquired about the passport details each officer asks to go to other desk for the same. At the end i had to return home with no information as in what is the satus of my passport .
when checked in the IVR[protected] it says police enquiery pending .And tried calling in the other two following numbers provided by the passport office no one answered the phone[protected]/2704122)
where else on 15th of april i have visited the Comissioners office and have got the police verification done and submitted the verification letter in the passport office on 17th of april. Today it is 23rd june 2009. And till date no information is provided about my passport.

Its not that they authorities have to issue me a new fresh passport, its only a damaged passport and all the sufficient requires documents have been provided on 23-feb-2009. Then why is the delay. When asked in the month of april the reason for delay . They gave the reason that its ellection times and thats the reason its been belayed.
what else can be commented on this issue .
I humbly request To the heigher Authorities to please, Please Look into this matter and take an action at the earliest as the trouble i have gone throught and the amount of mental stress i have gone throught to recover my damaged passport should be fruitfull.

I applied for passport on May 2007 in visakhapatnam. I was not able to present at the time of verification. Recently i got letter from office and submitted with details.Re-verification alreday been done.
But when i check the status, its showing "Application has been transferred to policy section, Please See the PRO".
