Paytm — Amount is not being refunded to me for Order No.[protected] | |||
On 21st of July, 2015 I placed an order with PayTM for a Eureka Forbes Trendy DX Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner for Rs.8779. As soon as I placed the order, I realized that I had provided the wrong delivery address, and I immediately cancelled the order (even before the seller acknowledged it, I cancelled the order). A refund of Rs.8779 was made immediately to my PayTM wallet. Then I opened my PayTM wallet and request a refund of Rs.8779 to be made, back to my bank account from the wallet. As soon as I requested a refund to be made from my PayTM wallet to my bank account, it said that the refund has been initiated and that the amount, Rs.8779 should reflect in my bank account within 3 to 10 working days. It's 17th August today and I am yet to receive my refund, I have contacted PayTM via phone and email more than 15 times on the whole, and on their request I even went to the bank and inquired them if there was any technical issue going on but the bank said my account is perfectly active and it is good to receive cash or funds. Also I sent my complete bank statement to PayTM twice by email, on 3rd August 2015 and on 13th August 2015 as well. Their customer care might be prompt in responding but all they do is ask for 24 hours, 72 hours or 48 hours and they just keep asking for more and more hours of time and I have become totally hopeless now. As of now, another 24 hours of time has been asked of me by PayTM, so this is the last chance am going to give them.
