Paytm — Paytm Wallet payment Gateway | |||
Team, I had made a vacation deal purchase in Groupon using paytm wallet paytm gateway. Due to unavailability of rooms for the desired dates, I had canceled the deal. Groupon immediately responded to me and refunded amount to paytm wallet and asked me to followup paytm to refund the amount back to credit card. There is no phone line for paytm, only one toll free number to register complaint through voice, I did that too. I had started emialing them from March 7th asking them to refund the amount to my credit card. No one is least bothered to reply me and they started closing the request without informing me. I have raised complaint at AKOSHA where they couldn't help me too. I saw an option in paytm to transfer the amount to bank. I tried to transfer 5999 and then 5500, which didn't allow me. Later, I tried with 5000rs, which is successful but only 4800rs was transfered to my bank account. Paytm page show 5000 got transferred and my bank shows 4800rs got credited, i then contacted back who asked me to check with paytm. After many days, I got a reply saying that 4% charges will be applicable for transferring amount to banks. Trust me, no where in the website says about the deduction. No bank would have charged 10rs for transferring even 50, 000 rs. Frustration part, no one replies properly or calls me, atleast dont provide a contact number to call me. They says system upgradation and some other reasons. Going forward, how can I trust these paytm if there is no proper response from customer care.
