[Resolved] Poorvika Mobiles — Forced to buy product - Cheating | |||
I went to Poorvika showroom in OMR today and bought Itel IT6330 phone. I was forced to buy a Philips ear phone and was told it was free. But they charged me 381 in the bill. When asked they said that's how the bill is but the headset is free. Together I paid a bill of 1950 including tax. But when I check online after reaching home the price of the phone including GST is just 1549. Explain me why they lied to me and cheated 401 rupees extra for a headset I never wanted. Nov 15, 2021 Complaint marked as Resolved After posting the complaint, a person from the showroom called and agreed it was a intentional mistake from their end. Though he blamed the sales person, I believe that this should have been encouraged by the manager anyway. No way this happens without knowledge of the superiors. They even had a price sheet based on these combos. I returned the headset and got the refund. But utter waste of time, money for my travel and peace of mind.
Note: I see other similar complaints about different branches about sales people cheating customers and misseling products. Looks like even the company itself is encouraging this and taking care of only the people who complain. Not sure how much revenue they earn out of this alone. A common internal announcement should be sent to avoid such mal practices and showrooms be audited frequently. Poorvika Mobiles customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |||
