Poorvika Mobiles — Misinformation at purchase

I’m posting this to raise a genuine concern and warn fellow consumers about my poor experience with Poorvika Mobiles – Periyanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore branch.

On April 10, 2025, I purchased a Samsung Galaxy F15 based on verbal assurances from the Poorvika staff. I trusted their promises due to over 10 years of prior loyalty with the brand.

Within just 2 days, the phone began to show an audio glitch specifically on YouTube, and I raised the complaint immediately. I visited the store multiple times, and every time I was verbally told it’s a software issue and would be resolved via updates. They also promised help through their store if the issue persisted.

Despite following all suggestions, the issue still exists. Over calls and visits, the store kept changing their stand, and finally pushed me to go to the service center myself, denying earlier support promises.

Charger Cable Misinformation:
Another key issue was the charger cable. I was clearly told twice during the purchase that the phone came with a USB-A to C charger, which was essential for my existing adapter setup. Based on that, and because the product can’t be returned after unboxing, I trusted their assurance and proceeded with the purchase.

Post-purchase, I found the charger was C-to-C, rendering it unusable for me without a new adapter. This misinformation led to an unused accessory and financial loss, and the store now denies all responsibility.

Even after multiple follow-ups, calls, and emails, there is no clear resolution. The company's responses do not align with what was discussed verbally. I am still under EMI for a defective product and an accessory I cannot use.

After wasting a lot of time and energy, I’ve come to the conclusion that this is not the Poorvika I once trusted. The post-sale support was completely lacking, and I now feel there is no difference between this and an online purchase.

I’ve decided to stop pursuing this further and will move on with my work life—considering this my worst-ever buying experience. This post is to warn other customers to double-check every detail and avoid relying solely on verbal assurances.
