Portronics — fraud after sales team

This is regarding portronics 2.1 dual usb charger that i had bought dated 11th march'2017 from amazon (Order no.[protected].

In the middle of november, the said charging adapter had stopped working. Upon switching on, the blue led light turned on but the charger did not charge phone. I had tried it with 3 different data cables but it was to no avail.in follow up to this, i wrote a mail to portronics team at [protected]@portronics.com dated 15th november'2017 explaining the above given problem and had also attached the serial number of the said adapter for their ready reference.

I was contacted by mr. Hemant kumar, a representative of portronics via the same mail id wherein he requested me to send the defective adapter to portronics' service center in delhi for repair. It is to be noted that i was not compensated for the courier charges. Accordingly, i had sent the adapter to their service center and shared the tracking id of the same via e-mail, which had been later acknowledged by the team. \

On 22nd nov'2017, mr. Hemant asked for my address in order to courier the repaired adapter back to me, in reply to which i complied and had accordingly requested for a tracking id to keep track of the same. I never received any reply and was ignored in my successive mails dated 8th & 14th nov'2017 asking for the tracking id and solving of the issue.

On 15th nov'2017, i had been contacted by mr. Rahul gupta who told me that they never really dispatched the adapter and are rather going to do it by 16th nov upon replacing the same with a new one. It has been 5 days since then and again my e-mail is being ignored.

I did not expect such unprofessional practice from a company like portronics and am heavily disappointed. Moreover, my time and resources have been wasted and mis-utilized by the company's malpractice. I demand to be compensated with atleast rs.10, 000 for the amount of money and time wasted to carry out the correspondence within the past month, which could have been much better utilized for productive work.

I hope that an honest consumer's pleas is heard and acted upon.
