I placed an order of 5 items from Purplle on 29.09.2025 and received it on 01.10.2025. Out of these, 3 products were delivered in terrible condition:
1. Mars Ink Pen Eyeliner (₹223) — already opened, plastic wrapping missing, branding faded.
2. Maybelline Fit Me Foundation (₹197) — seal damaged, product spilled all over the delivery box.
3. Mars Blush Hour Liquid Blush (₹242) — no plastic wrap, leaked and spilled inside the package.
I have raised multiple return/refund requests, but every time Purplle rejects them without justification. The rejection messages claim “images do not meet guidelines, ” which is absolutely false since I uploaded clear photos showing the damage and packaging.
I also emailed their support team, but they have stopped responding. When I called customer service, the associate flatly said “once rejected means it won’t be approved no matter how many times you request a return.” This is unfair, misleading, and against consumer protection laws. They are effectively forcing me to keep damaged, unusable products and refusing a legitimate refund.
This is causing me financial loss of ₹662 (223 + 197 + 242) and unnecessary mental stress. As a customer, I expect at least a basic level of honesty and accountability from an e-commerce platform.
I am demanding:
A full refund of ₹662 for the three damaged items.
An apology and assurance that such arbitrary rejection policies (“once rejected, always rejected”) will not be applied to other consumers.
If Purplle fails to resolve this immediately, I will pursue the matter further through the National Consumer Helpline.
