[Resolved] PVR Cinemas — cheating consumers claiming imax tickets and providing regular screen tickets | |||||
Team, This is rohit mohan from bangalore and i'd like to bring your attention about an incident that occured in pvr imax forum mall, bangalore on 7th april, 2018. I booked a ticket for the movie pacific rim imax show at 2pm, in forum mall, koramangala, bangalore on bookmyshow. After traveling 20km, i found out that the movie was being screened at a regular screen (Audi 3). I spoke to the pvr team and they had no answer expect that i have to adjust with the congested regular screen. I have attached the ticket to support my statement. This fact can be verified with the entire audience who attended this show. Everybody i spoke to had the same complaint. This is not a case where i have been independently cheated but the entire audience have been hoodwinked. I did not pay extra and travel so far to watch the movie in the regular screen and this incident has really disturbed me. I'm sure all the other audience share the same sentiment too. I work at oracle corporation and we regularly visit pvr as a corporate initiative but this experience was abysmal. The disappointing fact came in when the bookmyshow team claimed to have spoke to the pvr team on my behalf and they claim that this movie was screened in imax. The main reason for writing this issue is to bring out the true nature of governance is a big corporation like pvr and the inability to admit the fault. I have no words to tell except that i'm very disappointed with the professionalism of the cinema that had been my favorite since 2010. Please find the ticket attached that indicates the term imax and audi 3 toegther. Audi 3 is a regular audi and this can be physically verified.
