Respected Sir/Madam,
I am filing this formal complaint against PVR Cinemas for rude behaviour, unprofessional conduct, and deficiency in service by one of their staff members, which resulted in financial loss and mental harassment.
On[protected], I had visited PVR Cinemas Puducherry to watch a movie. Since PVR does not provide seat delivery for food during the show, I placed an order for Paneer Loaded Fries from their own PVR Canteen through Swiggy, specifically for consumption during the movie.
When I went to collect my order, the PVR Manager, Mr. Manikandan, behaved in an extremely rude, arrogant, and unprofessional manner. Instead of resolving the issue or assisting with the order, he wasted almost one full hour arguing and refusing to cooperate. Because of this, I missed a very large portion of the movie, and my overall experience was completely worst.
Despite raising the issue with the theatre staff, no corrective action or apology was provided. Therefore, I am escalating this complaint through the Consumer Forum for fair redressal.
I request the Forum to:
1. Direct PVR Cinemas to issue a formal written apology for the incident.
2. Refund the cost of the movie ticket or any other show ticket at free of cost.
3. Provide compensation for the mental harassment, wasted time, and spoiled experience.
4. Ensure appropriate disciplinary action is taken against the staff member involved.
