RBL Bank — harassment for payment during moratorium period. | |
Hi, i have a bajaj rbl credit card, it is one of many other credit i possess, but this particular card has become a matter of constant harassment, whereas all other credit card companies are following reserve bank guidelines to extend moratorium and do not harass customers for payment at all. While representatives from rbl constantly calling for payment at least 4-5 times a day and that too before the due date of payment which is 4th of july... They force you to lose your cool. I was always committed to pay any sort of interest, fine or charges and never asked for any type of reversal or refund of such changes. But i have all right to get the facility of moratorium. It is clearly updated on rbl website that "your card will be enrolled for moratorium if the payment for minimum amount due is not received on or before the due date for the current statement." yet they constantly harass the customer for the payment and that too before the due date. Even if i don't want to opt for a moratorium facility they can't harass me for the payment before the due date but they keep on doing that. Now i'm really feeling harassed by this bank and their executives who think they are above reserve bank guidelines and indian courts. I have every call recorded to prove my point. Any guidance towards legal remedies will be very helpful as this forum has previously helped me to get justice with my grievance toward mruti suzuki india. Thanks and regards. Saurabh rai.
