I have booked 3 tickets on 25.04.2025 from pune to Hyderabad on redbus app with Ramana travels(bus operator). The bus had broken down on 25th night and bus halted for about 1.5 hrs for repairs and again it broke on 26th morning at Sangareddy which is 30 kms away from my destination. The bus operator did not inform about the issue and again halted the bus at Sangareddy for necessary repairs. The reaching time was ideally 6:30 am at BHEL( my destination) however untill 9'o clock in the morning the bus was at Sangareddy only. I had to book a intercity cab from Sangareddy to Gachibowli as we were not left with any other option (paid 900 for the cab) I had some emergency meetings on 26th morning which i could not attend due to the delay. This journey has caused lot of stress. I have raised the issue with redbus customer care however they did not provide me a resolution rather are closing the chat inadvertently without my consent and not allowing me to take up the issue further. Adding to this they are updating the status of issue as in progress but not updating anything via chat or mail or message. It's been 5 days I did not receive any update or call from them.
I have faced similar issues several times and never received any compensation from redbus.
The service provider charges so much depending on demand but does not care to provide proper customer service. Hence this time I chose to escalate the matter. Was this information helpful? |
