My husband Ashutosh Rastogi booked 3 tickets on redbus.in with Kaveri travels date of travel- 14th may Hyderabad to Bangalore (ticket attached) and would like to report the horrible experience with the same.
Complaint raised with RedBus customer care[protected]
We started the journey from Hyderabad at 9:15 PM from Aramghar, Hyderabad, after waiting for 1 hr for the bus. The driver was rude and didnt tell us the right time of arrival even after multiple calls. Then we settled down, and found out that the bus stopped at 3 am and after waiting for 30 mins we started enquring and found there was a breakdown and bus cannot go any further. after another 30 mins they started informing passengers to start moving out and the highlight was there was no transport made available by the bus provider and every one o[censored]s was left in the middle of the night in a remote area (250 km away from Bangalore) to find their own transports to reach Bangalore. There were ladies travelling alone and were so stressed. We finally arranged a cab after 2 hrs of struggle and paid 6K to reach Bangalore and also helped fellow passengers to book cabs for themselves.
I am highly horrified and disappointed with this callous attitude of the bus provider. After reaching Bangalore, I called the Redbus customer care and demanded a complete refund of 3 tickets that we booked, they offered only 1200 refund out of 5300 that we paid that we refused and insisted on complete refund. After which there is no response from their side since 36 hrs now after our last talk with them. The redbus customer care is very diffciult to reach, it takes 15 mins to find a representative to talk.
I would request your support to
1) Get complete refund of my tickets INR 5233 and
2) To get Kaveri travels delisted from Redbus platform as I don’t think they deserve the rating and the privilege to be listed on RedBus anymore, with this careless attitude and providing such a horrendous journey to their customers. I don’t want a single person to suffer like this with them.
Please let me know any further details required from my side.
I would highly appreciate your speedy resolution on this matter.
