Horrible experience. Booked a volvo bus from manali to delhi through redbus. Operator: apsara holiday tours. Departure time: 4:30 p. M

First of all the charges were really high for the kind of service they provide.

The bus which showed up was a scania bus instead of volvo. The bus had a broken air conditioner and flies everywhere.

On contacting the redbus customer care service, the first attended told me that they received the information regarding the change in bus type and according to him even i was to be informed. Then he kept my call on hold to talk to the bus operator. After which he told me that the bus which was suppose to come had a mechanical breakdown that's why they changed the bus type. On asking him what can he do to help me, he said i have registered your complain and will revert soon.

I asked him to do something urgently because my bus was about to depart in next 10 mins as per the mentioned time.

On demanding the extra fare refund which i paid for a volvo, the attend disconnected my call.

I called back the redbus customer care service some other attended answered my call. He was trying to waste my time asking me useless question about my booking and all.

Then after i told him about my query and what his fellow attended told me, he completely denied that they did not received any information regarding the change in bus type. He was arguing that a scania bus is way better than volvo bus. According to him i got way more that what i paid for. He misused a customers helplessness and gave me a condition whether i want to travel by the so called bus assigned or not. He refused to help other than registering my complain. And i had no option other than travelling by that horrible bus.

On contacting the operator he told me that he cannot do anything, this is what they have and its my choice whether i want to travel or not. That person was not even sorry for this kind of service there company was providing.

Apart from this the bus was delayed by 60 mins. After travelling for 20-30 mins in that bus, i received a call from the apsara holiday tours operators mr. Pandey who told me that he is just calling me because the redbus people had contacted him. Instead of saying something about what he has done, he disconnected the call saying that he doesn't have time right now to solve all this problem.

This mr. Pandey stated the redbus guy that there is no change in bus type.

The redbus and these cheater bus agents are ganged up together to make a fool of the innocent customers as don't have any other means of communication other than calling them again and again.

This is the mail i recieved from the redbus people for the complain i registered. Now according to them i was lying about the whole change in bus type.
