Redbus — Urgent: complaint regarding unfair pricing and potential scam by redbus

I am writing to file a complaint against Redbus and Sanjay Traveller for unfair pricing and refusal to refund. The details of my complaint are as follows:

Complainant's Details:

Opposite Party's Details:

- Redbus: [Kalpataru Plaza 404 4th Floor Chincholi Bunder Road Chincholi Taluk Chincholi Bunder Road Malad West Maharashtra]
- Sanjay Traveller: [Sanjay Travels Nagpur, Near Bhole Petrol Pump, Dharampeth, Nagpur, Maharashtra -440018 ]

Facts of the Case:

1. On 20th June 2025, I booked two tickets on Redbus from Nashik to Shirdi for ₹2200.
2. However, when I arrived at the bus on the scheduled time, I discovered that non-booked passengers were getting tickets directly from the bus operator, Sanjay Traveller, for a significantly lower price of ₹200-300 per passenger.
3. I brought this to the notice of Redbus customer care and Sanjay Traveller, but both parties denied any refund, stating that they charge full fare up to the last destination, regardless of intermediate destinations.

Grounds of Complaint:

1. Unfair pricing: Redbus and Sanjay Traveller are charging exorbitant prices for tickets, which is unfair and unjust.
2. Refusal to refund: Despite being aware of the price disparity, Redbus and Sanjay Traveller have refused to refund the excess amount charged.

Relief Sought:

1. I seek a refund of ₹1600, which is the excess amount charged by Redbus and Sanjay Traveller.
2. I also seek compensation for the mental agony and harassment caused by Redbus and Sanjay Traveller.
3. I request the court to direct Redbus and Sanjay Traveller to rectify their unfair pricing policy and to provide a fair and transparent refund policy.
