[Resolved] Reliance Digital — refrigerator not delivered after taking money from debit card. | |||
On 17th october 2017 reliance digital in sambalpur was paid the full amount of a 335 ltr samsung refrigerator as the sales executives posted there promised delivery the next morning provided the entire amount of around rs 34, 000.00 was paid in full immediately. On 18th instant they deliberately cheated us many times by telling various things like:- 1) in 15 minutes it will reach. 2) your item is being packed for delivery. 3) item has left our premises is on the way 4) in two hours it will be delivered. 5) we will deliver in the evening after 7 pm. After 7 pm no one lifted the phone. When called from another phone no they lifted the phone and someone of them told :- 1) in 15 minutes it will reach. The refrigerator did not reach. In fact it was not at all sent to us. The were telling plain lies. Believing them - we stayed glued to our home to facilitate its safe delivery and placement. Next day (Deepavali day 19th october) someone from reliance digital inquired about the delivery of the item. What item? Micro-oven. We booked a refrigerator and not a micro-oven. The reliance digital persons on the other side appeared to talk and then argue among themselves and disconnected the phone initiated from their side. We tried to contact back. They did not lift the phone. We visited the reliance store and asked for the complaint register to right down the problem for scrutiny and logical solution. Despite repeated requests the did not give complain register. Someone said today by evening your item will be delivered. We told on deepabalee day as there will be firecrackers all around and alpana (Rangoli) all around our courtyard. A heavy item like freez can not be taken inside house without disturbing those painstakingly made things. Till today the delivery has not been made. R.
