[Resolved] Reliance Digital — resq plan no customer service and false promises | |||
We had purchased sansui 39" led tv from reliance digital, mount road @ chennai on october 2016. We also took a three year extended warranty with reliance resq plan which states no matter what happens to the tv its insured and all spareparts including panel/motherboard etc will be replaced free of cost and if not replaceable the amount of the tv would be given as a credit note and we could purchase any other later, if required. On january 29 2018, the tv went blank and we spoke with reliance customer care, they had delegated service issue to a local amc vendor newtech and after 2 weeks of follow-up a service engineer who came said the backlit of led has conked and panel and mother board has no issues so it can be easily fixed. But for which i need to make the payment and have it reimbursed from reliance digital. I was shocked to hear that! Why is that i need to make rs.6000 + to some engineer while reliance resq team had assured me not to pay anything, so i called up reliance customer service and they had it clarified with reliance digital store, mount road @ chennai and confirmed i do not have to pay and they will arrange between amc vendor and themselves. The service engineer felt arrogant and left without taking the tv. After 6 days of follow-up on taking tv for service on feb 15 the tv was taken for service and promised to be returned on feb 17th as backlit problem needs 1 day to be rectified. Every three days since february i am calling reliance customer service and amc vendor they have been giving false promises and not keeping their commitment. Mr. Mose, mr. Vimal, mr. Gopinath who attend calls from store are giving false promises, even though amc vendor is cheating them which numerous occasion i have informed they are still not bothered. First it was backlit problem, amc vendor states its fixed Second, led panel - they claim the panel is not working and they ordered for led panel wherein it was working with no issue. Reliance did not make payment on time hence spare part procuring got delayed and they claim they fixed it too. Third - software not upgraded. So they bought appropriate software and took three days to upgrade system in tv Fourth - motherboard is busted. This after several follow up by me and my wife were only told on march 31, 2018 that new issue has popped. Why is that amc is going on fooling reliance and in the end as a customer i am not given my right for entertainment, I and my family are suffering by not watching tv because of someone who tries to loot reliance??? This is being pasted in consumer complaint board and planning to send it to consumer court too!!! More than a month we are denied for our rights to know what status is it? We are not asking for charity but for a paid service and delayed service and appliance not given to us in the committed time!!! Also, they are so irresponsible by not even providing us a spare or stand by tv... Such an ugly affair with reliance and to confirm it will be the last!!! Was this information helpful? | |||
