[Resolved] Samsung India — galaxy s8 overheating problem | |||
I am very much unsatisfied and feel cheated with final resolution of no action from samsung for the evident and serious issue of s8 phone overheating while performing trivial operations on phone Here are the different interactions i had over last two weeks with samsung · on 21st of april, i visited service center for over-heating issue on my s8 phone. After showing the phone overheating (In air-conditioned environment) for trivial operations like youtube video watching or surfing net, service center team acknowledged the heating issues. They identified this as motherboard issue and replaced on same day · on the same day (21st of april), after replacement of motherboard, i showed same issue to ram (Service engineer). He suggested to use the phone for a day or two and then report back. The issue was not resolved and same was communicated to ram · on 27th again the phone was resubmitted for further action · after multiple follow-ups with samsung, i got reply from you on 3rd may. The resolution you have provided that there is no issue with phone. · i collected the phone on 4th april, without issue resolved · the phone heats up to the level that i cannot take calls sometimes Below are the questions unanswered 1. On 21st of april, if there was no issue with phone, why was the motherboard changed? And after motherboard replacement, even if the same heating project persists, why now samsung aying the there is no issue with same heating? 2. Using the phone in this condition not only is inconvenience, but also poses risk of burns or hazards.
