[Resolved] Samsung India — poor product performance - ac model ar18hv5nbwknna | |||
Dear sir / madam, Greetings!!! I am santosh kumar, a brand loyal of samsung. My first mobile is samsung, refrigerator is samsung and lcd tv is samsung.in a row, i also have purchased samsung air conditioner (Model : ar18hv5nbwknna, serial no: oaykpdcf100103m, triangle model) on 05.04.2014 from bajaj electronics limited, dr. As rao nagar, hyderabad for rs.45, 000/- (Rupees forty five thousand only). I was fascinated to buy this product only because this is from samsung and has the inverter technology. At that point of time, similar capacity air conditioner was available in market for only rs.30, 000/-, including samsung models. Though the product is expensive, i believed in samsung and purchased for my sweet home. It worked well for initial one year (Actually around 3 to 4 months). Thereafter the performance started dropping inspite of regular servicing. During the month of apr-2017, ac got a problem and stopped working. I’ve raised a request to samsung for help. I was literally harassed by samsung customer care and atlast, nearly after a months’ time, problem was fixed. About 5 to 6 technicians have visited my home for the repair of this product and everybody complained that this is abnormal product and has no proper servicing. I have to reach to the level of chief executive of samsung to seek his intervention to fix the problem, besides spending rs.3, 500/- plus. Again same problem, ac stopped working. I don’t know why your product will not work whenever i really need it. As usual, i’ve raised a request (Product request number [protected] dated 30-mar-18) for help. This time surprisingly, technician (Vishnu-[protected]) has arrived next day (31-mar-18) itself. He could not understand the triangle ac technology and gave-up. I got a follow-up call[protected] and i explained the same. On monday i. E. 02-apr-18 another technician ([protected]) has visited and gave-up. Today i. E. 04-apr-19, one more technician ([protected]) had come and said he cannot help. He also had a discussion with their servicing centre team at length and gave-up. Everybody saying one statement ‘sir, you have purchased a failure model’. I am very much upset. So many questions in my mind – Why samsung has betrayed their brand loyals? Could have released stable product. How much amount should i spend on failure model? Is there any recall? Shall i approach consumer forum? Shall i keep quite? What is the solution?
