Samsung — New mobile battery

I purchased a new Samsung mobile battery EB535163LU 2100 mAh S.No. AA1G624nS/2-B (date:[protected] from a shop in Gurgaon in the month of 24 August, 2015. I was replacing the old battery only because it was draining fast and I had to charge the mobile every day. To my dismay, I found that the new battery also dained away within a day. I did all i could by tweaking the device, but to no avail. I telephoned the shopkeeper, but he wasn't very helpful in solving the problem.
