I am holder of Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Ltd Deep Discount Bond with Folio No. SN545798 since the date of inception i.e., 7-1-1995, which are to be matured during January, 2014. Later I have not received any notice from the Fund management. It is now surprised to note from Internet information that the SSNNL Deep Discount Bonds were Redeemed on 10.1.2009 and no interest on redemption amount is payable to the bond holder after the date. I have not been communicated about the decision of the Board of Directors about the compulsory redemption of the bonds effective from 10.1.2009. I am entitled to my right of information/communication about the compulsory redemption and subsequent action to be taken by me. Since I have not been communicated about the decision of the Board of SSNNL about the redemption, I am rightfully entitled to the benefits till date on the amount. I request the Cosumer Forum to take up the issue and do justice to me. I had invested in two bonds vide Sn No. 491962 ref distintive no. 512451 and 512452, which is supposed to be redeemed in January 2014, howver, Agent, from who helped me to purchase the bond is saying that comapny has prematurely redeemed the bond however till date i have not been informed about this by the company. I had shree nidhi fixed deposit of Rs. 80,000 /- ( Rupees Eighty thousand only ) , FDR No. 1182566 dated 08/01/2010 for the period from Dt. 23/11/2009 to Dt. 22/11/2012. I have sent it for maturity nearly one month ago. Its maturity date is 22/11/2012.But I am still waiting for my warrant.


I had another shree nidhi fixed deposit of Rs. 6,000 /- ( Rupees Six thousand only ) , FDR No. F1099235 dated 29/04/2009 for the period of Dt. 08/04/2009 to Dt. 07/04/2012. I still waiting for its interest warrant as I have received earlier it expired

Dear sir

I bought deb of sardar sarovar armada nigam limited in 1993. It is due for redemption and we are unable to contact the registrar or the company before sending the discharged bond. On the registered telephone numbers there is no response over several days. I put 3600 rupees and amount due is 116000 rupees which is substantial money.
