On 22 March 2018, I updated my profile on Shine . Com as I was looking for jobs. A person by name Dheeraj Ojha called me and informed that I need to pay for registering myself with Shine. He dropped in a mail regarding the same for which I made the payment of 4322 rupees. Later Shivam from Shine called me and asked me that for my profile to be activated they need to complete few mandatory tasks like 1) Employee verification 2) Educational verification They will then produce a Job report that will be shared with the employers which will enhance my chance of getting shortlisted. For the above said services they asked me to make a payment and sent me mutiple payment links to my email ID. I have attached the history of payment links to you, from which you can see that they were sent with a gap of few mins without giving me time to understand what the links were. Only when I received the invoices I realised that I have been enrolled for learning courses that are not required. When I called Shine and spoke to Dheeraj Ohja asked for the same he said that If I didn’t pay for these courses my JOB Code will not be activated. and asked me to pay additional 36k which I refused. Dheeraj refused to refund my money. I feel cheated and have been charged nor services not required for my profile. If people like Dheeraj and Shivam work for SHINE the reputation of the company is at stake. I feel cheated and robbed of my hard earned money for services that are not relevant to my profile. Kindly escalate it to the higher management as the reputation of the company is at stake. For a PMP certified person and who has 13 years of experience I would not require the services for the following highlighted and have been unnecessarily charged: Kindly arrange for the refund.
