Shine.com — Job Assistance Scam

I recently updated my shine.com profile few days back. on 10th july, 2026 i got call from shine.com career assistant. She asked me about my skills, current ctc and expected ctc. then she told me to join job assistance program for around 180 days where experts will help with career guidance and find mnc jobs via referrals. she said some additional amount might be needed so i did not think twice as shine.com is an old reputed recruiting agency. then came call from vicky goyal career assistant and he starting giving promises that within a month i will land into a job with more than my expected ctc. then he started sending emails for payments to different courses and services. at first he said 4 payments for different services needed to start immediately as market is very competitive and jobs are shrinking. then after paying them, he talked and again he started sending payment links for another 2 services. i thought it wont cost much, but slowly slowly total amount reached upto 88990. he asked for 7th payment around 40K. i told him if i can pay the 7th amount next month as i don't have money right now. he kept pushing me to use somebody else's card and do emi. finally i told him to cancel and refund. he said it is not refundable. he still kept pushing me to pay the 40K otherwise i wont get links to apply for interviews to MNCs that they promised. he told me to think again but i refused to pay more. i don't see the courses are worth half of 88990 INR. FEELING CHEATED.
