[Resolved]  Shine.com — request for refund and complaint regarding shine services

I am writing to raise a formal complaint and to request an immediate refund for the services I purchased today.

I paid approximately ₹80, 000 only a few hours ago for Shine services. However, shortly after the payment, I was informed that I would need to pay an additional ₹39, 000 to receive job links and continue with the process. After already paying a significant amount, I am being asked to make further payments for services I neither agreed to nor wish to continue.

I also received a call from a relationship manager who informed me that additional payments are required for services such as employment verification, education verification, and ATS resume building in order to proceed with my profile. This was never clearly communicated to me before the payment was made.

I am concerned about the lack of transparency. These mandatory add-on charges were not mentioned or displayed on the Shine portal prior to purchasing the service. Why were these critical details hidden from customers? This feels misleading and unfair.

Since the purchase was made only a few hours ago and I do not wish to proceed with any services, I request a full refund of the amount paid. Please treat this matter as urgent and confirm the refund process at the earliest.

If required, I can provide payment details and transaction proof.

Despite my clear refusal, I continue to receive repeated calls and emails pressuring me to activate services from Shine.com. This persistent communication and threat of automatic activation are causing harassment and are unacceptable.

Please note:

I do not consent to the activation of any services.

Any activation without my written approval will be treated as unauthorized.

I request immediate cancellation and full refund of the amount paid.

I require all future communication to be conducted strictly via email.

• I do not authorize activation of any services.
• I request immediate cessation of all phone calls.
• All communication must be strictly via email.
• I request cancellation and full refund of the amount paid.

Any activation of services without my explicit written consent will be treated as unauthorized and will be included in my ongoing complaints with consumer authorities and banking channels.
