I am writing to raise a formal complaint and to request an immediate refund for the services I purchased today.
I paid approximately ₹80, 000 only a few hours ago for Shine services. However, shortly after the payment, I was informed that I would need to pay an additional ₹39, 000 to receive job links and continue with the process. After already paying a significant amount, I am being asked to make further payments for services I neither agreed to nor wish to continue.
I also received a call from a relationship manager who informed me that additional payments are required for services such as employment verification, education verification, and ATS resume building in order to proceed with my profile. This was never clearly communicated to me before the payment was made.
I am concerned about the lack of transparency. These mandatory add-on charges were not mentioned or displayed on the Shine portal prior to purchasing the service. Why were these critical details hidden from customers? This feels misleading and unfair.
Since the purchase was made only a few hours ago and I do not wish to proceed with any services, I request a full refund of the amount paid. Please treat this matter as urgent and confirm the refund process at the earliest.
