[Resolved]  Simplilearn — do not ever, i repeat, ever enroll with simplilearn

So, a very serious suggestion. I do not ever, and repeat, ever enroll with simpli learn for any of your courses. I have never come across any unprofessionalism to this extent anywhere.
To give you a back ground, i am a senior public relations professional with one of the agencies in india that is doing extremely well.in order to grow my skills, i decided to learn digital marketing. This would have also, helped me progress in my career. Hence i started my search online for the same. Also got in touch with simpli learn. This was commenced sometime in feb of 2018. From the time i enquired, a mr. Mayank chaubey got hold of my number and would call constantly to have me enrol. He spoke so highly about the course. Of course since he was from the sales team of simpli learn.
Even though i had informed him that my work timings are morning 9 to 6:30 in the evening, i would get frantic calls from him in between my meetings, or my work. Apparently not answering the phone meant call repeated to mayank. It was so annoying that i almost decided not to go with them. Which i eventually realised would have been a good choice.


Even after telling him that i will join in april he kept calling. So much so that he would call me at ungodly hours like 10:30 at night.
Then start the mails. Twice thrice in a day.


Then when the payment assistance came in to scene, mayank was already busy.

He pushed me for the payment immediately which i did of 17000+. Post payment, starts the time when mayank is completely off the face of the earth. I haven’t been able to speak to him since. He won’t revert to my calls or mails at all. Even for the simplest assistance. From the 3rd of april till the 13th of april i would call him or mail him but there was no revert from him at all.

Classic case of extreme unprofessionalism. I had told him that i have a busy schedule due to my work and will not be able to attend classes from the very next day. Please give me some time to get back to you with regards to my wanting to continue with the course. And before i signed up, every response from simpli learn was in ‘yes’ ‘its possible’ ‘we will do it’. But right after the enrolment, the complete demeanour changed 360 degrees. They we not bothered about anything anymore.
Since i was not able to carry on with my classes, considering i had not attended a single session, i decided to cancel my subscription and get a refund. I called the “customer delight number”- which i beg to differ on the name. Spoke to someone who i informed, that i understand that in case of asking for refund there is a 10% deduction which is fine with me.in fact i also offered that more than 10% deduction is fine with me too as long as the percentage is not outrageous.

The girl on the phone said i will check with my seniors and revert in 24 hours on this. And viola a mail lands in my mail box with absolute promptness that the refund would by not possible.
She could have had the decency of telling me that on the phone instead of giving me the run around of “we will sincerely try and process this” and “i will talk to my senior and try and do something”.
Coming to the quality of the course, i have seen only a few recorded classes on the app and this us guy rants on about what the digital marketing is all about. Doesn’t care to explain any concepts first. It is ridiculous, please don’t go for it. A self-learning programme on google or youtube is more informative than this nonsense.
Do not go for a course from simpli learn. Not worth it!!! Its waste of your time and energy topped with the feeling of being played for a fool by these sales executives.

I am working in an MNC and enrolled for a course over here . After my money was transferred through net banking to which I received mail as well, razorpay/ Simplilearn stated they did not. The refund amount period of 5-7 days does not seem to come to an end!!
