[Resolved] Snapdeal.com — order cancelled by seller but arrived with wrong, product inside returned but not refunding amount | |||||
I placed an order for amway nutrilite bone health tablets, on 6th july 2017 through cod mode. The estimated date for delivery was 13th-14th july 2017. On 14th july, i got a notification that the seller was unable to provide the item, so the order was automatically cancelled. However, i received the product on 24th july 2017 and paid for it to the delhivery agent. On opening the package, it was found that the seller had sent the wrong item which was a cheaper and low quality substitute for the amway product. My order id is [protected]. I could not opt for returning the wrong item through 'return' option in the website because it still showed my order to be cancelled whereas i received the order with the correct invoice but wrong item. On 24th july 2017, i mailed snapdeal support as well as wrote in the help page in the website about this issue intending to return the wrong item and get back my money. A vulcan pvt ltd agent came to my address the next day (25th july 2017) to pick up the wrong item and initiate the return process. I gave him the whole package. I received a mail from snapdeal support immediately to enter my bank neft details so that they can refund the money. However, when i submitted the bank details it showed me that i cannot change the bank details in the middle of the refund process. I was bewildered because the packet was just picked up for return 5 minutes ago and i have not entered my bank details earlier. Now, when i check my order status in the website, it shows that refund was completed on 14th july 2017 but in reality i received and paid for the product on 24th july 2017. They updated the order status in a few hours with the wrong information. It also shows that my return request was declined at 9.28 am on 25th july 2017. It was exactly the same time when i received a mail from snapdeal support asking me to enter my bank details just after handing over the package to the return agent. I am sending mails after mails to snapdeal support but there is no reply. I want my refund as soon as possible. I am attaching images of the invoice, wrong item, return receipt, snapshots of mails and order status in this complaint. I have been a regular user of flipkart, amazon and paytm, and i never faced any such issues with those e-commerce websites. It is my first order at snapdeal and it proved to be highly disappointing.
