I bought this TV in Nov/Dec 2018 from Vishal Electronics, Borivali, Mumbai.
In Sep/Oct 2021 the display went bad. SONY service center fixed the problem by changing the display at a cost of around Rs. 22, 000.
Now, its Oct, 2023 and once again I have exact same problem with no display but sound works.
I am just shocked with the poor quality control testing from SONY. After this, I have lost my trust in SONY products in India. I use SONY products at my home in USA and have no complaints at all.
I hope that SONY takes pride in their products & services, and offer to repair it for free.
Spending Rs.44000 (for replacing display 2 times) on a Rs.79, 000 TV in less than 5 years is not acceptable.
I strongly recommend the reader of this complaint to opt for another TV or buy a cheaper TV so you can easily replace, if its a display problem. Was this information helpful? |
