Sony India — bdv-e4100 - faulty printed motherboard

My bdv-e4100 (Home theatre) was suddenly having issues, went to sony service center vigneshwar service in bangalore, kept the system for 2 months and then i got it picked up as they says part is not available, it was just a 2-3 years old system very worst service, no calls, no intimations, no eta, pathetic handling of the issue. Spoke to sony customer service, they says they will share me a replacement of a lesser unit as part caanot be procured and system is out of stock. I said no and need a correct replacement with either similar feature product, which they are unable to. Most products in their website with bluray is discontinued though they are still appearing in website. Finally i selected an inferior product and told them the same as requested for. But then suddenly out of blue, they told me they will procure the parts but no eta and lately, they stopped responding, there is no response, no mail reverts, no call, they are also not taking my calls... Am completely in a soup. I need immediate help and it has been 3 months i am sitting with a non functional product which is a marriage anniversary gift.

Good Morning.

It has been a whirlwind journey and nearing 3 months of completion, but there is no solution offered till date. I have only offered different options and team have not even aligned on any one of them till date. Last response i receieved via whatsapp as on 16th Sept, from Chennai Head Office is that, they will be arranging for the part, however, they said there is no ETA. Post that the coomunicatuion from your side completely stopped. I tried connecting on phone nos., whatsapp, sms, mails and belive me, not a single response on the same I have received.

Please can anyone revert to me with the current status and HELP!!! SONY as a brand is known for.

After such a long period, I again connected with the Customer Service Online Support and they asked me to drop one more mail, hold for couple of days again and they will be helping or escalating my case to the concerned and as applicable.

Am really confused on the type of service as a user I am being subjected to (this is pure harassment), this felt so heartening, when I am so flexible on my side. I am still pinning hopes on the team and would like someone to reach and offer me a immediate/priority solution to end this nightmare.

Sunil san: I need your immediate attention on this issue.

My 2 year old Blue ray BDV E4100 stopped responding and company suggested reset also did not work. Service engineer came today and says the mother board needs to be replaced. Such a low reliability is shocking from Sony.
