Dear Sir
This is Tahir Vora, residing in Vap was using Sony Xperia C2 till 13/10/2014, on 14th morning I found out that my mobile was not switching on but charging indicator was blinking.So I visited your service Center "Shri Sai Services" Vapi on the same day 14/10/2014 and submitted my mobile for repairing since I
was under warranty. This was a starting point of my Horrible Experience with Sony.
1. Service Job Sheet is attached below.
2. It took 10 days for a Service Centre to inspect my mobile
and even after there was no courtesy to tell the customer about his handset. It
is when I checked with service center I got to know that PCB of my handset was bent.
Firstly I need to know how ones mobile
is ok at night and suddenly in the morning PCB get bend automatically as there
are no physical damage on the upper body and display.
3. I called up on the Toll Free no. of Sony Customer Care
and mentioned my problem so the call center guy promised me to resolve the
issue as soon as possible (Ref No. 1-[protected]) Oct 30th 2014.
4. I again got a mail on Nov 12, 2014 stating it will be
resolved in 48 hrs.
5. 17th Nov 2014 when I called on Toll free they
made an arrangement of a Conf-Call with Mr. Deepak Mahajan (Shri Sai Service
Centre). Mr. Mahajan Stated that he will send a mail for an Approval for
replacement of PCB to the company and will inform accordingly within 7 working
Days
6. There was no call from Service center till 5th
Dec 2014 so I decided to visit on 6th Dec 2014 at 5.15 pm. There was
no Authorized Person to reply my queries. Some technicians were running the
Service Centre at that point of time. Out of them one guy called Mr. Alpesh
Rabari (ASI) and I was assured that it will be resolved by Monday.
7. On the same day at 7.54 pm I received a mail from Anjali
Sawant (CCC-west) stating that PCB bend due to Liquid Ingression and as
warranty T&C warranty is void in this case.
Till now PCB of my handset was bent now I was given a reason that it was
bent due to Liquid Ingression as per the convenience of Sony Company’s T&C. There is no use of warranty if you can’t
honor it.
8. On Monday 8th I visited the Service center
again I was given a waiting period of 3 days for some kind of Special Approval.
9. Today on 11/12/2014 I received a message from Mr. Deepak
Mahajan that Approval has been rejected by the company.
I would like to know if there is a manufacturing problem
with the hand set why should I bear it,
When I submitted my mobile that time it was only PCB issue
so Liquid ingression has happened at the service Centre which is again not my
concern then why should I pay for it.
It’s my hard earn money and I won’t let it go easily. I don’t
think mine is the first case regarding the PCB issue in Sony Xperia but I will
surely like to pursue it further till the time my handset gets fixed(In
Warranty).
Kindly look into the matter.
