I purchased sony led tv kdl-55w800d tv from chroma on 23.10.2016. The tv is still under warranty, but it is failing to start and blinking red 5 times again and again.
I made complaint on 09.10.2017 to sony customer care no. ([protected]) vide service request id: 42780234 and i was assigned sree balaji electronics, hyderabad. Customer care told that sony technician will visit my house to repair tv in 48 hours (2 days). Nobody came to visit in 2 days.
I called them again and they told to wait for 1 more day.
Next day again, i called they told to wait for 1 more day.
Next day again, i called they told me that service center allocated is too far and they are reallocating to another service center, universal electronics.
I asked them why it took them 5 days to realise that service center allocated is far and they need to reallocate. They told there service center allotment is automatic and based on pin number, but i asked him to repeat address and pin number registered for my complaint and pin number was correct. How can they waste 5 days because they wrongly allocate service center based on pin number that was correctly given to them
I thought at least now somebody will visit in next 2 days, but still no call from sony technician and nobody came to visit also.
On 17.10.2017, when i called to know status of my complaint, after that i received message that my complaint has been registered again under different new service id: 43151354.
Now today it is 20.10.2017 and nobody has called nor visited my house to repair my led tv that costed me rs. 1, 05, 000. And is still in warranty period.
I purchased sony believing that sony is superior quality and better brand and their service will be good and now i am greatly disappointed.
Moreover it is humiliating and frustrating to have to call each day to remind them to send a technician and they tell we are extremely sorry, please wait till evening and technician will definitely come.
I request to attend and resolve my complaint as soon as possible.
