Dear Sir,
I have given my Sony TV for repairs (Model: KLV-40EX430) for repairs at the Sony Service Center at Sector 2, NOIDA on 14/6/2014.
I am informed that the part required is no longer made by the company and hence I am likely to be offered a replacement. The final decision from the company is still awaited.
I am enclosing the Job Sheet and the Invoice of the TV.
This is also to inform you that I have a Extended Warranty for the TV (Extended Warranty Card No 40001413 dated 14/10/2012).
It is requested that prompt action is taken on this case. The World Cup is half way over, with no TV at home!

There has been no reply/response to the above email. However, the Service Center informed me that approval had come from the company which will provide a free replacement as certain parts were not available and my TV was under warranty. I signed the requisite form and submitted to the Service Center on 30/6/2014.
Till date I have not received the replacement, and over a month has now passed since the TV was sent for repairs! On calling the Service Center, I keep getting informed that the item has to come from the company and not yet arrived.
It is not understood that is a replacement is to be given, why this cannot be done through a local Sony dealer, instead of waiting for such a long period!
Please arrange to provide the replacement TV on priority! The matter is already over delayed.

Same thing happened fro me also.. plz update as and when you receive the replacement...
I have given my TV for service on 16/06/2014 and Sony offered replacement for me also.
But till now I haven't received the new one...So please update when you receive the replacement TV...
