[Resolved] Sony India — Frustrating LED TV and customer care | |||
1. I lodged complaint for repair of my LED TV (purchased in October 2011) on 13 September (complaint no:[protected]. 2. Service engineer visited and said that motherboard will be changed. He said that he will bring motherboard and change it at my place. He also gave me option for repair but for that option I will have to send my TV to service center. Since my TV has been repaired once last year so I gave my concurrence for change of motherboard and told him that I will accept only genuine Sony item. 3. After that Service Centre maintained complete silence. I called up Customer care 5 times (September: 20, 23 (twice), 01 oct, 07 October). Call Center told me on 01 Oct that Service Center is saying that I am not taking their call - which is blatant LIE. 4. I also lodged online complaint last week but no response. 5. 25 days down the line, Sony India Delhi Service Centre has done nothing. For a poor quality but expensive product, I had spent Rs 3, 500/- on repairs one year back and now I have to spent Rs 10, 000/- for new mother board (within 3 years of purchase).
