For decades we use Sony's Electronic devices of all sorts (Laptops, Cyber-Shot Camera, Car Stereos, WalkMAn's, VHS & VCRs, CD Player's TVs, Music Systems, iPods, etc.). But the recent experience we had from our 48" Sony LED Internet T.V, bought in August 2015, is highly disappointing, and damaging our trust in Sony Devices. Within one (1) year from the date of purchase, the above T.V's panel board got damaged, and was replaced, and similarly several parts of the above T.V, even panel boards, were damaged in consecutive months & years till date. Even now the T.V has been handed over to Madonna, Thodupuzha (Sony's Authorized Service Center) in Kerala, due to Main panel board damage, with ₹.25000/- charged for the new panel board. Just in 6 years of owning the above device, we spend a similar amount somewhat equal to the device value. Our only mistake was, we trusted Sony Device's Quality which we had experienced in the past. If we had gone for any other brands, we did not have to bear these imposed expenses, incurred due to lack of your product quality at least not these often.
I request you to approach this matter in a much compassionate manner, rather than officially, considering our decades-old loyalty to Sony Products. As spare for our TV's damaged part is not available the company had forwarded an exchange offer. Our damaged 48" Sony LED Internet TV + Rs.50000= New 50" Sony LED Internet TV. But we demand free of cost exchange for the above-damaged product as the damages were often since purchase. Attached are details of receipts and payments for the repairs done on damages incurred in the past years. Hope you will consider this as a special case, and find a resolution in a friendly manner, which will reinforce our shaken trust in Sony Products' quality. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
