Sony India — I am complaining about my 48 inch smart tv purchased just three and half years back.now the display is not functioning

Sir,
i have purchased the sony bravia 48 inch smart tv just three and half years back.now the display is not functioning.the service center people are telling that it will cost around twenty five thousand.is not it painful?
then why any one will go for sony by paying a high amount if the longevity of the product is less.it hampers the goodwill of the company.please help me to do the same by paying the minimum amount.
