Sony India — issue with your phone

I have bought Sony xperia L from ebay on 24th june 2014. This phone is giving an issues since morning.. it is not detecting my sim card nor getting vibrated.. when i had been to your customer care service at Lamington Road Mumbai they are saying me that your model and its software belons to some other country and we cannot solve your issue, if i m getting such a feed back from your service centers then why do you sell your phones online?? what should i do with this phone?? I want my phone perfect. i hope a positive response from you.
