Sony India — No action for rectification of fault of TV during warranty period | |||
I purchased a Sony BRAVIA TV Model no. KLV-40R482B, Serial no. 3256464, on 4th May 2014. After running without defect from May 2014 to November 2014, it suddenly developed problem in "Screen Mirroring". As the product was under warranty for one year a complaint was registered at customer care who redirected it to M/s Tirupati Enterprises, SONY Service centre, Haridwar on 21st March 2015 vide Job no. J50703311. Since then their engineer visited five times (after calling customer care for 15 times)but could not able to rectify the defect which he also accepted before me. Now, they say that there is no problem in your TV. This is totally a bullying tactics that has been adopted by SONY INDIA so that they do not have to correct the fault. I feel a world renowned brand like SONY should not involve its self in such cheap activity and will act fast to save its reputation.
