My Xperia Z3 compact model D 5833; IMEI No: [protected] was given to authorised Sony service Centre @ Madonna Care Centre, Allen’s Cube, Paradise Road, Janatha Jn., Vyttila-682019, Cochin, Kerala Phone:[protected] on 10/07/2018 (Job. No.W[protected] dt. 10/07/2018 ) due to battery bulging and broken display. I paid Rs.12, 098/- vide NEFT to Run Services Infocare Pvt. Ltd. (on 21/07/2018) as per directions from above service centre. Till now, even after 3 months elapsed, I have neither received the repaired set nor old one and the money paid. In fact, within a month of purchase of the set, it started malfunctioning (touch screen was not working)and I had to give it for service five times. Some of the Job Nos. are (W[protected] dt.1/10/15; W[protected] dt. 21/12/2015; W[protected] dt.25/01/2016; W[protected] dt. 11/05/2016 etc) and latest job card & payment details attached. The mental agony due to the irresponsible attitude is tremendous.

I received the mobile. No repair was done. In fact, more damage to the set was done such as the same has come as three separate pieces with the back cover totally damaged. It was unfair that when the set can not be repaired, giving back the same without rectifying the damage done by repairer. Anyway, at least the advance amount paid was also got back. The reason for non-repair was told as the set is outdated and no parts are available. I purchased the same three years back, in Aug., 2015, for a price of 30, 000/- and had to give for first repair (non-functioning of touch screen) within a month. Thereafter, four more times. The money spent after the warranty period, the mental agony suffered because of this set, who will compensate? Will "Sony" replace with another set or compensate the damage done?
