Sony India — Not providing services under warranty period

I brought a Sony LED TV KLV-32R402A on 07.12.2013 from Lucknow which started creating problems after 9 months of its purchase. The complaint was registered with Sony India during 3rd week of October'2014 on toll fee No. [protected] but no services were provided after waiting for a long time. Bounding by the same and as expiry of warranty period was fast approaching I registered the complaint on their portal on 31.10.2014 and was assured as under : Dear Bhajan Singh Rawat, Greetings from Sony India. We have received your Email and your request has been logged as : 22081906. Please use this Number for any future reference to your request. Our response time will vary based on the nature of query. We will make every attempt to respond to you expeditiously. We solicit your co-operation and understanding. We assure our best support always. Regards Customer Care Center Sony India For any Technical Assistance, Chat with our experienced team online!( Visit: https://www.sony.co.in/webchatform ) I waited up to 3rd November, 2014 and as there was no response from the company. I logged the complaint again on same day and again assured as under. Greetings from Sony India. We have received your Email and your request has been logged as : 22154689. Please use this Number for any future reference to your request. Our response time will vary based on the nature of query. We will make every attempt to respond to you expeditiously. We solicit your co-operation and understanding. We assure our best support always. Regards Customer Care Center Sony India For any Technical Assistance, Chat with our experienced team online!( Visit: https://www.sony.co.in/webchatform ) Now, as the TV has stopped working, the matter was taken up with Sony officials on toll free no. and every care person now asking for visit charges, service charges and other expenses as the problem has gone beyond warranty period. I find myself on the right path for not paying the expenses as asked and take the matter to consumer forum if the problem may not be treated under warranty period.
