Sony India — Not taking the waterproof warranty for z5 premium

I have bought a z5 premium phone and it is a waterproof mobile.
Recently the mobile got some water on it and the screen and the motherboard has gone. Now the sony is not taking it under the warranty and insists on charging me for repairing the mobile phone. I bought the mobile phone because it is waterproof and now everything is gone. I have a warranty as well as insurance with me.
