I purchased a sony car audio amplifier on dt: 3 june 2015 with retail invoice and warranty card whose copy is attached with my complain.
I found it not in working condition while installing in car so i handed it over to nearby sony authorized service centre whose job sheet copy is attached.
Service centre people say that it cannot be repaired so they have asked their higher authority for replacement approval.
Till date 27 june; 1:00pm they have not received approval for replacement.
I called sony toll free number :[protected] also but as a reply, i was told it is in process.
It was not possible for me to wait for that long so i purchased new amplifier, if you want i can produce invoice of that also.
Now the thing is i actually don't need that replaced amplifier as i have already bought a new one.
I am looking if consumer forum can help me out in getting the refund of cost with reasonable compensation amount for the delay and problems i faced in chasing for replacement and purchase of another one.
