Harassment by sony india (Service centre - hathibarkala, dehradun, uttrakhand, 248001).
Suddenly the led tv went out of order while running normally and on calling serv. Engineer on site, i was asked to pay rs. 250 (Approx) and further advised to carry this 43"led tv to the service center as it can not be checked here (At my home). After a few days i carried the tv to sony service center located at hathibarkala, dehradun and the service center told me to leave the unit and i will get the quotation on my mobile for which i requested to check the unit infront of me for which the service head completely denied and asked me to leave the unit. After a week i got the call intimating that tv's main logic board has burnt due to power issues and the repair estimate is around ₹ 45000/- to ₹ 48000/-.
On asking a signed hard copy of repair estimate the sony service center denied and returned the unit with advise to"purchase another sony tv".
Myself being accommodated in defence estate where no power fluctuations occurs as it is always monitored 24x7 and advance modern equipment are installed to avoid surge current/ lightening effects. Despite of all, my tv quoted for rs.[protected] for repairing my kdl-42w900b (2015 model) main board and where as the total cost of product is 78480/- only.

On escalating the issue on sony india web site, the sony service center called me & offered 20% discount on aforementioned estimate and settle the issue.

In short i am mentally harassed and exploited by sony india.
