Sony India — repair/ replacement | |||||
My sony bravia 46"tv was accidentally damaged physically and led panel was broken, to get it repaired complaint was booked on sony customer care on 25 june17with complaint number 40251013, the complaint was assigned to sree balaji electronics - hyderabad (Authorized service centre). Sony service engineer (Mr ramesh) visited our home on 26 june 17 and suggested that the 46" led is discontinued and its better to buy a new tv and they would offer 25% discount on new sony tv if purchased from them. The service engineer then said that he would confirm the rate of the new tv next day and left. The next day service engineer said that the billing is cancelled due to gst implementation and he would call back in 2 days. There was no response for 8-10 days from sree balaji electronics, the case was then escalated to their manager (Praveen) he added that due to gst the case is delayed and he would confirm the price of the new tv with in day or 2. This went on days together daily calling to manager till 31 july 2017. On 31 july he confirmed that i should pay rs 65925 dd in favour of sony india pvt ltd. I took a dd for rs 65925 on 1 aug2017 and gave the same to mr ramesh service engineer sree balaji electronics on same day. He confirmed that the new tv will be installed in 3-4 days. Till date the tv has not arrived and sree balaji electronics manager mr praveen was confirming daily that in day or 2 it will be delivered and installed, daily the same story is being told and still there is no response even after 20 days after paying money. I even tried to call sony customer care and they also unable to tell the status. Even after repeated enquiry they also confirmed that in day or 2 tv will be delivered, daily the same message is being told again and again, i even insisted to return my money and i would buy some other tv but the money is also not returned back. They are harassing daily and causing serious inconvenience. Kindly help me out Was this information helpful? | |||||
