Dear Sir/Mam, We had given our Sony Experia Z1 for repairs under warranty. We had reported that the handset has got rust all around the screen. The handset was kept with them for 10 days and they reverted with denying of providing any replacement of the same. When we were to receive the handset, we observed that the handset was physically damaged from the side of the screen and we immediately brought into their notice. They promised to revert by the end of the day on the issue, however, they reverted by denying that this was damaged by them and this was pre-existing. If it was a damaged piece, the same would have been mentioned on the service advice note which they prepare at the time of accepting the handset..the same has no mention about any damage or any scratch on the handset. Further, when we contacted your help line they took another 10 days and your service agent Mr. Mukesh reverted by saying the following:
1) The service center has denied damaging the handset or carrying out any repairs
2) The rust problem can't be covered under warranty as there could be liquid spillage due to which the rust has occurred around the screen. This is a waterproof phone, by the way, and there are no traces of any liquid spillage.
Request your intervention in the matter and help us get the issue resolved at the earliest as this is been pending for more than 2 months now.
