I have sony bravia 49 uhd 3d smart led tv-49x8500b product which was purchased by us on 14.11.2014 and since then this product has given us a series of problems.
My recent complaint number 61584076 is still not addressed. The engineer visited 4 weeks back and then i was told the part (Tuner board) would be ordered and since then i have followed up continuously with vega electronics mr mari who kept telling me that the part will come soon. 2 weeks back he told me the part will not come and i should purchase a new t. V., i am completely shocked as sony brand i didn't expect even the service center to give that kind of response. Even though the product is out of warranty and i ready to pay for the part, i am being told this part is not manufactured any more. Once they have replaced motherboard too in 2017.
I am giving you reference numbers of all previous complaints for this product and i need immediate response to this topic from you. I believe i was sold a faulty part to begin with. Every year - 2017/209/2020 i have had the same problem with this t. V.
See the complaint numbers from previous years - brand complaint id[protected], 40975485, 54989212. The tv has the same problem where the led at the base blinks for 9 times when the tv switches off. This happens every 30 minutes and we are unable to watch the tv for next 5-10 minutes since the red light keeps blinking, we then need to shut the power and switch back after 10 minutes and again the tv will go off after 30-40 minutes with blinking red light.
Even in 2017 we had the same problem - and there were numerous back and forth emails with reliance sales/ kedar bagwe/ vega electronics where a part was replaced as it was part of extended warranty at that time. My concern is the hassle i have to go through when i have purchased the product of such a nice brand and the service center / neither the sony head or call center doesn't care about the issue and has not provided a resolution to me for this faulty product!
I have seen many complaints of blinking red light for sony bravia tv and i want to file this complaint for sony to not escape this issue but resolve for all customers and keep its brand name good. Was this information helpful? |
