Dear Sir / Madam,

I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Television

The issue that I have experienced was: There was a time when Sony products were known for quality and durability. It seems the situation has changed nowadays.

4 years ago I bought a Sony TV model Bravia KD-43X7500E, it is a smart TV with 4K resolution, the cost was around 63000 INR.
It came with one year Sony initial standard Warranty.

After 1.5 year the problem started, tv was suddenly restarting again and again. I spoke to Sony care, they have appointed a technician, they found that the mainboard has a problem and it needs to be changed, since the TV was out of warranty i had to spend around 10K INR and they have changed the mainboard.
Everythings was ok till the next 6-7 months. Again the same problem started and the same procedure was followed, they changed the mainboard and 10000 INR were charged.
After 4-5 months the problem started again. The TV was working fine if it was connected through dish tv /Gio tv or tata sky but if I opened any application like prime video or netflix, it was making a harsh crackling sound and restarted.
This time i spoke to few technician and they told me the truth that mainboard of this particular model i.e. Sony Bravia KD-43X7500E come with a manufacturing defect and this model was a failure, though I spoke to Sony customer care and told them that I am not going to pay thrice for the same problem.
I requested them to escalate this case to higher management so that this problem gets some visibility.
i've 2 televisions at my home town Videocon and Micromax. We have been using them for more than 9 years without any single problem.
My request to Sony is that we are paying a very high amount for your products . Please consider this case and help me with the solution, I am not going to pay for the repeated problem again.

I want Sony to refund my total amount or replace this television.

It occurred again since: last 6 months

This meant that It caused a lot of money and affected my mental health . I've been mocked by my friends and relatives for this bad quality of TV after spending so much.

Nobody contacted from Sony team till now, i had to pay 11000 INR to the SONY service center and they have changed the Mother board panel, this is 3rd time i had to pay for faulty mother board panel in last 3 years.
On top of that the television was returned with the dust particle inside the screen panel. I dont know how to deal with them now. I am fedup with them now.
